Class 375

Electrostar

No. 375307 is seen stabled in the ''up'' side loop siding at Faversham on 25th February 2006. The

two driving trailers of a three-car unit are powered, with the centre vehicle being a dummy. In

four-car units, three of the vehicles are powered, leaving one of the centre coaches as a trailer.

Contrasts at Dartford on 23rd March 2006 with No. 375926 trundling through London-bound as

empty stock, and Class 376 No. 376034 preparing to stop at platform 4, with a service from Charing

Cross via Sidcup. The side profiles are the same, but the units look very different from the front. The

doors of the Class 375 also slide outwards, whilst those of the Class 376 slide inwards. David Glasspool

No. 375303, one of the three-car formations, has just trundled out of the EMU sidings at Tonbridge

West Yard and is proceeding to the station on 16th February 2006. David Glasspool
