An eastward view better reveals the concrete footbridge and the curving nature of the track, but also in sight

is milepost 45 from London Victoria. Notice that in the first picture, the main building's platform canopy was

upward-sloping. From this second viewpoint, the canopy is now flat-roofed! David Glasspool

A second eastward view from the nearby level crossing includes both platform extensions. The extension at

the far end of the ''down'' platform marks the former position of the signal box. David Glasspool

A view of the façade reveals the splendid crème brickwork with orange lining, but also shows that all ground

floor windows have been boarded up. Those on the upper floor even have metal grills across the glazing. On

the plus side, unlike the platform canopies, the entrance canopy retains its ornate valance. David Glasspool
