Battle: 1937

The layout seen here is largely that laid by the SER, although the wagon turntables had long since disappeared. The goods shed and yard are evident on the western side of

the station, and we can also see the ''up'' side ''dock'' siding terminating just before the station building. The level crossing and No. 1 signal box are at the top left. No. 2

signal box was positioned where the green dot is placed.
