It is an interesting mechanism, comprising of numerous cogs powered by a boiler working at 100
PSI. The wheels allowing rotation on the axis can be seen at the bottom right. These cranes can
lift a maximum load weight of five tons. David Glasspool
The steam engines were tucked away in the shipbuilding sheds, but at least one locomotive was
on display, that being this Andrew Barclay 0-4-0 diesel shunter. It is one of two diesels on site.

This line of wagons is the only remaining rolling stock on site; there are two tankers, a ventilated
van and three open wagons. Like the cranes, the wagons are stored outside in one of the remaining
sidings. David Glasspool
The Georgian-era buildings are out of the picture, on the left. A single track continues along this
section, right up to the building in the background. The crane seen here is stabled in a siding, which
connects with the aforementioned single-track on the site where the cars can be seen parked.
