A special guest: ''Britannia'' Class Pacific No. 70013 ''Oliver Cromwell'' trundles towards the junction on a series of yellow signals, hauling the ''Sussex Belle''. This was a circuit trip from London Victoria, running via Maidstone East, Ashford, Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, and Petts Wood and Bickley Junctions. © David Glasspool
