A London-bound view shows that the former goods yard has become home to a timber merchant, but happily the goods shed still exists. The lampposts have been replaced with much taller ones since the 1996 pictures. An Uckfield to London Bridge service had just arrived in the form of a four-vehicle Class 171. © David Glasspool
