A large proportion of the 19th Century brickwork has been removed, but a series of the arches along St Thomas Street have been tastefully restored, both inside and out. This is a southward view towards that road, underneath the terminating platforms, which includes some of the restored work. © Maidstone Man
This westward view shows the point where the "through" and terminating platform lines diverge. The huge concrete column on the right is one of the supports for platform line Nos. 10 and 11. © Maidstone Man
The organisation of the street-level concourse means that it can be used as a general thoroughfare, a ticket only being required to access that area immediately served by escalators and lifts to the platforms. This is a view towards Tooley Street. © Maidstone Man
