We have swapped sides and are now at the western end of the depot, looking east. The yard in view is host to a motley collection of components for MPVs (Multiple Purpose Vehicles) On the right are four tracks: the centre pair are those of the main line, whilst those flanking either side are the Singlewell Loops. © David Glasspool
A close-up shows the depot's sidings feeding off the ''down'' loop. In the background can be seen the rail-served rolling stock maintenance shed, marked by the wasp-patterned door. In front of this is an MPV. © David Glasspool
Another eastward view shows both Singlewell loops converging with the main line. Also clearly in view is the ''up'' westward-facing siding, which predates the depot and was laid with the loops. © David Glasspool
