Seen from up high, No. 47200 is pictured at Dover Town Yard, once a mass of sidings situated immediately west of the terminus at Dover Western Docks. The locomotive was named ''Jackdaw'' in January 1990 and eventually scrapped in May 2008. © Wayne Walsh

No. 47425 ''Holbeck'' is seen sandwiched in-between diesel shunter No. 09018 and classmate No. 47201 at Dover Town Yard. The locomotive ended its days hauling Network SouthEast services out of Paddington, and was scrapped as early as April 1997. © Wayne Walsh

A grubby No. 47201 is, too, pictured at Dover Town Yard, with train ferry wagons on the right and, in the background, the roof line of the Lord Warden Hotel. This locomotive became part of the Railfreight Distribution pool. © Wayne Walsh
