In view on 5th September 2007 is the 12:40 Waterloo International to Brussels service. The formation is too seen on the 3½-mile long spur which connects the ''Chatham'' main line with the CTRL's ''Section 1''. At the time, it had been planned for Brussels trains not to serve Ashford International after the opening of ''Section 2'' of the CTRL. On the right is one of the spur's electricity sub-stations. © David Glasspool
Also on 5th September, the 12:19 Paris Gare du Nord to Waterloo International service was observed cutting through the countryside. Third rail and overhead wires coexist with each other at this point; the former terminates at the four-aspect colour light in the background. Notice that the pantograph is already in the lowered position. © David Glasspool
