Gravesend Central
The end of the new bay platform was already taking shape at the eastern end of the layout, where an ''escape lane'' for trains once existed. This is an extension of platform 1, which was being converted from serving a through line to a terminating track. © David Glasspool
The final section of the footbridge - staircase and lift shaft - were to be found stored upon low-loaders along the roadside at Overcliffe, Gravesend, about 300 yards from the station as the crow flies. © David Glasspool
