On the left of this view of the concourse entrance is the temporary ticket office. This arrived on site in October 2012 to replace those facilities lost during the reconstruction. © David Glasspool

Two sets of escalators have been brought into use on the southern side of the site, linking the station forecourt with St Thomas Street. Descending the escalators and turning left takes one to the main entrance of ''The Shard'' skyscraper. © David Glasspool
