Approaching from the south is Class 466 No. 466040 leading the 08:58 service to Charing Cross. On the left is the 1959 "power box" which, had the resignalling run to the original schedule, would have been demolished in April to allow the completion of the "down" loop. The white crosses on the signals indicate that they are not yet operational. © Roger Goodrum
