Cliffe Gravel Works

Beyond the junction and now on the single track spur to the works, the public footpath crosses the line. In this view we are looking west, back towards the junction, observing the tight curve rounding the fields, complete with a ''check'' rail. © David Glasspool

The line has curved to the extent that we are now looking in a north westerly direction towards the gravel works. The guide rail ends as the curve straightens out, but the track formation briefly becomes double in the form of a passing loop.  © David Glasspool

A footpath also intercepts the passing loop section, the end of which can be seen in the distance. The gravel works can be seen appearing on the left - the line curves once again towards this site immediately after the passing loop.  © David Glasspool
