A southward view shows what appears to be a potential road bridge span, in anticipation of office development taking off. The yellow and blue triangular signs are block markers for the TVM430 in-cab signalling used on the CTRL. © David Glasspool

Underneath the ''high-level'' domestic island (platforms 5 and 6) for the North Kent Line exists a hall which houses ticket machines and lifts to the above surface (yet to be opened at the time of this view). This entrance can be used as a passageway to the main station building. © David Glasspool

Now past the automatic sliding doors, we see the hallway: straight on for the international platforms, and left or right for the yet to be opened domestic island platform. On the far right can be seen the end of the automatic ticket barrier line for the island platform; there exists a second set of barriers on the left, out beyond the scope of this view. © David Glasspool
