The Station Master's house has changed little since opening. Notable differences are the front porch (formerly it just had the roof canopy) and the garage extension on the left. © David Glasspool

The LSWR goods shed remains extant in what is now the car park, and this and the GWR transfer shed are the only structures which are of origins before the station building in the early 20th Century. The shed here never contained rails itself - a track ran parallel with the side furthest from the camera, protected by a small canopy. © David Glasspool

The spur from the Pen Mill line is observed in the evening sunshine on 5th September 2004. The splendid semaphore signal gantry is joined in this view by a single semaphore in the background, just left of centre. This spur has a 40 MPH speed restriction in the ''up'' direction, and does not join the Weymouth line until directly outside of Yeovil Pen Mill station. © David Glasspool
